SUN-FIX Liquid Epoxy Adhesive, LIQUID
SUN-FIX Liquid Epoxy Adhesive, LIQUID
Steel-filled self leveling adhesive with extremely high adherence
Product Description
Features
● Two-component, high temperature resistant, fast-curing, high-strength epoxy adhesive.
● Developed for repair and bonding applications requiring the filling of large gaps and cracks.
● Contains a high level of fillers, has a putty-like consistency, a very short pot life, and fast curing characteristics.
● Thanks to its high gap-filling capability, it can be easily applied on rough or poorly fitting surfaces and effectively fills cracks, voids, and surface irregularities.
● Its high viscosity ensures excellent adhesion performance even on vertical surfaces.
● Temperature resistant up to +180°C.
● Provides mechanically strong and impact-resistant bonds due to its high tensile and impact strength.
● Suitable for use on a wide range of materials including metal, plastic, fiber-reinforced materials, ceramics, glass, stone, and wood.
● Offers a wide range of applications in industrial uses, maintenance and repair works, and high-performance DIY applications.
● FOR THOUSANDS OF REPAIR APPLICATIONS YOU CAN IMAGINE
● Once cured, it can be painted, drilled, and sanded.
● Resistant to chemicals.
Surface Preparation
● For optimal adhesion, surfaces must be clean and free from grease.
● Foreign materials and loose particles must be removed, and the surface should be roughened with suitable sandpaper if possible.
● After mechanical abrasion, the surface must be cleaned of loose particles.
Application
● Dispense equal amounts of both components by pushing the dual cartridge through both nozzles.
● Mix both components until a homogeneous color is achieved.
● Apply quickly to only one side of the surface to be bonded or filled.
● After opening and reusing the cartridge, discard the first 1 cm of extruded material as the components may have been affected by different exposure conditions.
● Pot life is based on approximately 10 ml of material at room temperature. Larger quantities will result in faster curing.
