SUN-FIX Liquid Epoxy Adhesive, PLASTIKBOND
SUN-FIX Liquid Epoxy Adhesive, PLASTIKBOND
Two component fast curing plastic adhesive with high tensile and shear strength
Product Description
SUN-FIX Liquid Epoxy Adhesive, PLASTIKBOND
General Features
● High tensile and shear strength, fast-curing, two-component plastic adhesive
● Provides excellent adhesion especially on rigid plastics (PVC, ABS, fiberglass)
● Suitable for bonding rigid plastics to each other or to materials such as aluminum, steel, ceramic, glass, natural stone, etc.
● Resistant to impact; suitable for both static and dynamic loads
● Maximum gap-filling capacity of up to 5 mm
● High viscosity ensures excellent adhesion performance even on vertical surfaces
● Suitable for automotive bumper repair, bodywork repair, and mirror bonding
● Ideal for repairing headlights and tail lights, as well as all metal parts of vehicles
● Apply within 10 minutes; begins to set in 4–6 minutes and can be sanded and painted after 60 minutes
Surface Preparation
● For optimal adhesion, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease; mechanical roughening (e.g., sanding) is recommended
● Remove dirt, loose particles, and contaminants; surfaces must be clean and dry
● Apply quickly to only one side of the surface to be bonded or filled
Application
● Dispense equal amounts of both components by pushing the dual cartridge through both nozzles
● Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous color is achieved
● Apply quickly to only one side of the surface to be bonded or filled
● After opening, discard the first 5 cm of material due to possible inconsistencies in reused cartridge tips
● Pot life refers to a 10 ml mixture at room temperature; larger quantities will result in faster curing
